Edward A. J. Cibrik
Edward A. J. Cibrik, age 88, of Brownsville, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital with his loving Family at his side. He was born September 3, 1921 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the Son of Albert Cibrik and Mary Andrews Cibrik.
Edward was a Veteran of World War II who served with the 388th Bombardment Group and was a member of the American Legion Post 295 in Brownsville and also Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Edward was predeceased by a his Parents; and by a Sister, Eleanor Greyshock.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 62 years, June E. Leeper Cibrik; two Children: Debbie Herrington and her husband Bill, Brownsville, and Jerome Cibrik and his wife Sharon, South Charleston, West Virginia; Grandchildren: Ann Dugan and her husband Stevie, Ron Herrington and his wife Brandi, Jennifer Anderson and her husband Nathan, Lisa Cibrik; a Great Grandson, A u s t i n D u g a n
several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville, Pennsylvania with the Reverend Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday at 8 p.m.
