North Union Twp. State police at Uniontown charged Jeffrey S. Golembiewski, 47, of Uniontown with harassment after he allegedly threatened to kill M. Denise Golembiewski, 51, also of Uniontown, Thursday at 9 p.m. at 229 Edison St., North Union Township. Fairchance Man charged
Billy Ray Jordan, 26, of Smithfield was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Fairchance between June 19 and Aug. 19. The charges were filed Friday by state police before Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis. A preliminary hearing is tentatively set for August 26 before Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham.
South Union Twp. Four injured
Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on New Salem Road Thursday at 5 p.m.
According to state police, Sarah Jones, 32, of Uniontown was attempting to turn left onto New Salem Road from Duck Hollow Road when she collided with a vehicle driven by Michael Homer, 34, of Uniontown.
Jones and a four-year-old child passenger received moderate injuries, while Homer and a one-year-old child received minor injuries. American Ambulance took the injured to Uniontown Hospital.
Uniontown Drug arrest
State police said they arrested Jeneane Ayers, 24, of Uniontown for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia Friday at 12:25 a.m. Ayers was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at West Berkley and South Mount Vernon Avenue in Uniontown.
Dunbar Twp. Woman charged
State police charged Mary Kuhns, no age or address listed, with criminal trespassing for entering the property of Dena Graft at 277 Locust St., Dickerson Run, Dunbar Township. The incident occurred Tuesday at 9:55 p.m.
Uniontown Man cited for DUI
State police at Uniontown cited Charles E. Henderson, 49, of Uniontown for driving under the influence of alcohol and drug possession following a stop on Nutt Avenue at South Mount Vernon Friday at 1:45 a.m.
Mount Pleasant Twp. Plate removed
State police said someone removed the license plate from a vehicle owned by Joseph Koshir of Greensburg while it was parked at Vicki’s Crossroads Bar in Mount Pleasant Township Monday, Aug. 9. The paint on the vehicle was also damaged with a key.
Jefferson Township Two injured
One person received major injuries and another had minor injuries in an accident Thursday on Route 88 in Jefferson Township, Greene County. According to state police, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female was attempting to make a U-turn on Route 88 at Pumpkin Run Road when the collision with a southbound vehicle occurred.
The 17-year-old driver received moderate injuries, while her passenger, Jordan White, 19, of Carmichaels received major injuries and was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle, Janna Bedosky, 30, of Waynesburg, was not injured.
Mount Pleasant Twp. Men cited
State police cited two men following a fight on Bobtail Lane in Mount Pleasant Township Wednesday at 5:20 p.m. John Dutchko, 39, of Mount Pleasant was cited for assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, while David Wisniewski, 26, of Pittsburgh was charged with assault and harassment. The charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Roger Eckels.
Dunkard twp. Car taken
Jeffrey VanMeter, 33, of Dilliner told state police that someone took his 1993 Chrysler LeBaron from his yard between Aug. 12 and Aug. 13. According to police, it appeared as if the vehicle had been towed from the yard.
It is a tan car with a blue driver’s-side door.
Jefferson Twp. One person injured
One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Ferncliff Road in Jefferson Township, Greene County Thursday at 2:22 p.m.
According to state police, the accident occurred when Mary Rendziak of Rices Landing backed out of a parking space onto Ferncliff and collided with a vehicle driven by Raymond Beckett, 46, of Carmichaels.
Rendziak received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Southwest Regional Medical Center.
Georges Twp. Hit-and-run probed
State police charged Georgjean Macik, 34, of Cameron, W.Va., in connection with a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 on Oliphant Road in Georges Township.
Macik told police that Veronica Gibson, 37, of McClellandtown had been the driver, but it was determined that Macik was the driver and Gibson was a passenger at the time of the accident, police said.
Macik was charged with making false reports to law enforcement, accident involving damage to an attended vehicle, duty to give information and render aid, careless driving, limitations on backing and failure to have insurance.
Menallen Twp. Screen damaged
Ruth Evelyn Williams, 83, of Uniontown, told state police that someone damaged a screen at 137 Miller Farm Road in Menallen Township Wednesday between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Wharton Twp. One-vehicle accident
One person received minor injuries in an accident on Elliottsville Road Friday at 10:10 p.m. According to state police, Ryan DeHaven, 18, of Farmington lost control of his vehicle and went off the road into a ditch. DeHaven received minor injuries. His passenger, David Jeffries Jr., 17, of Uniontown, was not injured.
