Mrs. Marilyn Whipkey Keffer
0005930200-01-1.jpg Mrs. Marilyn (Whipkey) Keffer, age 83, of Hopwood, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital. Born on March 20, 1927 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Marilyn was the daughter of James Whipkey and Sara (Hooper) Whipkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Joseph Keffer; a daughter, Donna Savage; and sisters: Martha Jean Borod and Arline Wagner.
She is survived by a son, Paul D. Keffer and wife Susan of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; grandsons: Brad Savage and fiancee Colleen, Chad Savage and his wife Jen, Brian Keffer and fiancee Heather; granddaughter, Amy Livingston; great grandsons: Chad, Kolby and Krew; great granddaughter, Emily; and a brother, James T. Whipkey and his wife Linda of Evansville. Marilyn was blessed, as well, with her devoted friend Vicky Burd of Hopwood; and with many loving and devoted nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the FAIRCHANCE APOSTOLIC R E V I V A L C E N T E R, 109 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
