0005930198-01-1.jpg Robert G. Jubin Sr., age 66, of Smock, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 i n Johnstown a t t h e h o m e o f his son and daughter- in-law, Jonathan a n d Stephanie. Robert was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on February 12, 1944 the son of George and Opal Smell Jubin.
Robert was a member of the First Christian Church of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania.
He graduated in the Class of 1962 from Uniontown Area High School and the California University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1966.
He was a retired secondary teacher in the Uniontown Area School District.
Robert owned and operated Wood Hue.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in infancy; and his aunt, Ethel Jubin.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters: Robert “Robb” G. Jubin Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Jonathan W. Jubin and his wife Stephanie of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Jamie Jubin-Ng and husband Mark of Alexandria, Virginia, Laurie-jo Zentkovich and her husband Richard of Johnstown and their mother, Bernadette Jubin; fifteen grandchildren: Justin, Candace, Jennifer, Jessica, Eddie, Jason, Zachary, Jacob, Austin, Zoey, George, Zane, Sammy, Trenton and Jaxon; a great granddaughter, Bailey; and a brother, Donald Jubin and his wife Janet of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pennsylvania on Monday, August 30, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 31, 2010 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rufus Peer, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
