Clare Ann (Buday) Marshall
Clare Ann (Buday) Marshall, age 85, of Jefferson, passed away on August 29, 2010 at home with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Albert (Huck) Marshall and mother of two daughters.
She was born October 13, 1924 in Vestaburg, Pennsylvania, Washington County, the daughter of the late Joseph Paul Buday and Anna (Havas) Buday.
Mrs. Marshall was a 1942 graduate of East Bethlehem High School. She lived in Jefferson for 56 Years.
On June 28, 1952 she married Albert “Huck” Marshall.
Clare enjoyed gardening and loved flowers of all types; Education was very important to her and this was evidenced in her daily life. Clare had a love for learning and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her daughters: Marian C. Marshall of Jersey City, New Jersey and Joan E. (Alan) Marshall Urtubia of Allen, Texas. Also surviving are two sisters: Martha Munoz of Torrance, California and Lucille Makel of Vestaburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters, Tom Buday, Ann Buday Jova, Catherine Buday Vasko, Helen Buday, Mary Buday Gary, John Buday and Eleanor Buday Spiegel.
Friends will be received today 6-8 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the FRANK BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro PA 15348. Funeral Prayers Thursday 10:15 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christina Burial 11 AM at St. Michaels Church of the Oliver Plunkett Parish, Frederick-town, with Father Paul Grunebach officiating.
