Jean Maison
0005997559-01-1.jpg Jean Maison, age 82, of Mather, Pa., died December 14, 2010 in her home with her family by her side. Born March 24, 1928 in Thompson No. 1, Fayette County, Mrs Maison was the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Mary M. (Chester) Stimmell.
On April 2, 1950, Jean married Edward E. Maison who died May 1, 2001.
Mrs. Maison is survived by two daughters: Karen Sellers and husband Bob, Mather;. Rachelle L. Zebro and husband Phil, Mather and one son: Edward E. Maison Jr., Waynesburg; three grandsons: Edward E. III and Thomas E. Maison, and Daniel L. Perry; one brother: Thomas Stimmell and wife Betty, Delaware; one sister: Mary Wortman, Kent, Washington.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Maison was pre-deceased by four sisters: Frances Stimmell, Violet Hutchison, Ester Ross, Beatrice Colvin and a grand -daughter Ashley Sellers.
Jean was a retired housekeeper from Greene County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Lippencott.
Jean enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and her family.
Friends will be received in LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa. 15320 (724-966-5100) Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor, today (Thursday) from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, December 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Paul Roofner, officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
