Irene Dolores (Discovich) Ewanick, 80 of Uniontown, Pa. died suddenly Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 24, 1930 in Uniontown.

Preceding her in death were her parents Walter Discovich and Julia (Kusnar) Discovich.

Irene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband Charles Richard Ewanick; four children: Diane Grena and husband Fred of Uniontown, Pa., Denise Dinsmore and husband James of Hopwood, Pa., Darlene Pastorius of Cecil, Pa. and Scott Ewanick of South Park, Pa; four grandchildren: Jillian Grena, Kara Dinsmore, Jarred Pastorius and Kylene Pastorius; a sister Helen Wontroba and two brothers Edward and Eugene Discovich all of Uniontown.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, Pa. on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m.
