0005998354-01-1.jpg Kelsey Amber Blasinsky, age 19 of Carmichaels, Pa. died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. B o r n January 11, 1991 in Uniontown, Pa., she was a daughter of Jeffrey A. and Kristen (Kraynak) Blasinsky of Carmichaels.

Kelsey was a 2008 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and was currently attending California University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Degree in Nursing. She was a member of St. Hugh R.C. Church in Carmichaels.

Kelsey was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Those who knew her were instantly embraced by her warm and sensitive heart. She was a free spirit, who was always looking for the next adventure – but found her greatest pleasures in family traditions and the simplicity of laughter with loved ones.

Kelsey’s ability to light up a room will forever be unmatched and her gentle nature will live on in the hearts of her three adoring sisters and loving parents.

Surviving in addition to her parents are three sisters; Kenzie D., Jessi K. and Jovi J. Blasinsky all at home; Paternal Grandmother, MaryAnn Blasinsky of Masontown, Pa.; Maternal G r a n d p a r e n t s, Joseph and Portcia Kraynak of Shoaf, Pa.; Maternal Great Grandfather, Thomas Yeager of Smithfield, Pa.; Three Uncles: Steven A. Blasinsky of Longmont, Colo., Michael P. Blasinsky of Rices Landing, Pa. and Joseph Kraynak, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Morgantown, W.Va.; two aunts, Deborah Britton and her husband John of Longmont, Colo. and Kelly Oravets and her husband Robert of Smithfield; cousins, Kaiten Oravets, Jocelyn Kraynak, Emily Kraynak and Stuart Britton. Also surviving are several great aunts, uncles and many cousins. Deceased is a brother, Jeffrey A. Blasinsky, Jr. and her Paternal GrandfatherFrank A Blasinsky

Family and friends are welcomed from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December, 20, 2010 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church with Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa. A Rosary Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., both on Sunday in the funeral home. The Family suggests donation may be made to the: Patrick Nader Fund, c/o PNC Bank, 200 E. Main St., West Newton, Pa. 15089.
