Helen G. Wargo
Helen G. Wargo, 85, of Daisytown, PA (Clover Hill) died Sunday December 19, 2010 in the Golden Living Center, Uniontown, PA. She was born May 6, 1925 in Ralph, PA, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Ziots Yuhas.
Mrs. Wargo had been self employed as a local sales representative for Beeline Inc. and in her youth, she had been employed in Detroit, MI. in a manufacturing plant that produced airplanes and airplane parts in support of the World War II war effort.
She was a longtime member of the New Life Assembly of God Church, Brownsville, PA, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Choir Director. She also taught Bible classes at the former Heritage Hills Christian Academy in Belle Vernon, PA.
Helen participated in the Bible Release Time, Christian Education Program for students. She enjoyed writing poetry and crocheting.
Surviving are two sons: David Wargo (Bonnie) of Brier Hill, PA and Tim Wargo of Daisytown, PA; one daughter, Samantha Wargo of Daisytown, PA; one brother, Michael Yuhas of North Olmstead Falls, OH; one sister, Rebecca DelTurco of Amherst, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband, William “Steve” Wargo who died January 9, 2004; two sisters, Roseanne Roupe and Joan Barth and one brother, Anthony Yuhas.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA, where services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, December 23, 2010 with Rev. Domer Snyder and Rev. Michael Outrich co-officiating.
Interment will be held in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
