Mary M. “Marge” Sintich Plovock Bozek
0006001804-01-1.jpg Mary M. “Marge” Sintich Plovock Bozek, 81 of Smock, Pa. passed away peacefully Thursday, December 23, 2010, at 1:38 a.m. in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. after a brief illness. She was born February 26, 1929 in Lemont Furnace, Pa., the daughter of the late Agnes (Prah) and Joseph Sintich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas E. Plovock, an Infant Son Joey Plovock, 2 Brothers, Joseph B. and John Sintich and Sister Anne Wyda.
Marge is survived by her Husband, George P. Bozek, of Smock, Pa.; 2 Sons: George P. Bozek, III and wife Cheryl of Smock, Pa, Thomas E. Plovock and wife Barbara, of Fairfield, Pa.; 4 Daughters: Rita Plovock Petrus and husband Michael of Smock, Pa., Nancy Plovock Wiland and husband Gary of Douglassville, Pa., Shawnee Bozek Papincak of Connellsville, Pa. and Maribeth Bozek Kuzmicki and husband John of Haymarket, Va.; 13 Grandchildren: Michael, Thomas and Ryan Petrus, Gregory, Amanda and Leann Wiland, Justin and Nick Bozek, McKenzie Plovock, Patti Papincak Carlson, Alex, Adam and Jack Kuzmicki; 3 Great-Grand-children: J.T. and Rylan Carlson and Clea Bozek. She was also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
Mary was a graduate of St. John’s High School, Uniontown, Pa. and a member of St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock, Pa. where she attended mass daily and was a member of the Rosary Society.
She was a devout Catholic, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother who made the best pancakes. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and her wonderful neighbors for her kindness and generosity.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 2 to 9 p.m. Prayers of Transfer will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 27 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Hedwig R. C. Church, Smock, Pa. with Rev. Fr. James Petrosky officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
