Bertha Decovich
Bertha Decovich, 90 of Denbo, PA died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 unexpectedly in her home. She was born February 18, 1920 in Hermini, PA a daughter of the late Daniel and Juba Kovacevich Knezovich.
Mrs. Decovich was a longtime and dedicated member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Carmichaels, PA.
Surviving are one son, John D. Decovich of Denbo, PA, one daughter, Linda Porter (Rich) of Brownsville, PA; five grandchildren, Dr. Richard Porter, Ryan Porter, Linda Green, Kimberly Upton and David Decovich; three great grandchildren, Teddy Green, Elizabeth Green and Daniel Upton; two sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Knezovich of Denbo, PA and Helen Knesovich of Lowhill, PA.
Deceased are her husband, John Decovich who died on April 28, 1994; son, Daniel S. Decovich; three sisters, Mildred Ricco, Yvonne Powell and Donna Brado; four brothers, David Knesovich, George Knezovich, Michael Knezovich and Steve Knezovich. She was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA. Family and friends are asked to gather at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Carmichaels, PA at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2010 for a funeral service celebrated by the Very Rev. Dr. Rodney Torbic.
