Fairchance Community Days slated By The Herald-Standard
The annual Fairchance Fire Department Community Days is set for July 9, 10 and 11 on the volunteer fire department’s grounds on Route 857. Opening day will feature the Little Miss and Junior Mr. Fairchance Pageant, which is open to all Fayette County children. Contestants will be divided into age groups 2-5 and 6-10.
Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. and costs $15 to enter. The pageant will start at 7 p.m.
The band Birmingham will perform from 7 to 10 p.m.
A variety of activities are planned for July 10.
A car show and registration for the show will begin at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $10.
Registration will end at 2 p.m. and the show will end at 5 p.m.
King Wolf Karaoke will provide entertainment from noon to 5 p.m. and the band Last Call will play from 7 to 11:30 p.m.
A fireworks display will start at 10 p.m.
A community patriotic worship service featuring a choir comprised of choir members from all the churches in the borough will begin at 7 p.m. July 11.
