Janet Mary Boerger Waller Strope
Janet was called home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2010 surrounded by her loving family after bravely battling cancer. She was the eldest beloved daughter of Virginia and the Late Arthur Boerger of Ellgin, IL.
Janet leaves behind her husband of 20 years, Floren (Tom) Strope of Blainesburg.
Predeceasing her was her first husband, Stanley Waller, together they raised five loving children, Joyce Atherton of Blum TX, Cathi Thomas of Vanderbilt, Jennifer Ryan of Fredericksburg, VA, Patrica (Victor) Sawka of Brownsville and John Waller of Morgantown, WV, and also surviving are her loving step children: Tracy(Kris) Jensen of Smithfield, Randy (Lynn) Strope of Montclair, VA and Shelley Kennedy of Gaston, SC. ” Mirror, Mirror on the wall, I’m my mother after all” We love and miss your loving touch and your all knowing way.
With every loving stitch in a wedding, prom, baptism or first communion gown her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren will always have the most fond memories. Michael(Jeanne) Whitacre and children Casey(Deceased), Jessi and Zach, Will (Lisa) Thomas and children Cade and Zoey, Crystal (Jim) Buich and sons Lucas and Aden, Erika (Chris) Workman and daughters Ryan and Callie, Erin(Chris) Loar and daughter Lindsey, Emily (Anthony) Fiesel and son Carmine, Janet (Gary) Rozik and Children Lily and Gary, Victoria Sawka and daughters Morgan, Karlee and Aliyah, Brandi Brooks and Children Kaylona, Jahvon and Mikayla Brooks, John Waller and Children Hailee, JJ and Kylee, Josh Waller, James and Mikaila Kennedy, Chelsea Jensen, Brian and Allison Strope.
Her devoted sisters, brother, nieces, and nephews won’t be able to pass an antique store without feeling Janet’s spirit. She is also survived by her sisters, Charlotte (Tim) Nolan and Susan (Tom) Dilley of Il and her brother , Bill ( Jill) Boerger of NC
Janet worked the last 26 years for Henry and Stewart Audiology in Carmichaels where she left many many friends.
Janet has touched many lives with her kindness. Her final wish was to go to her favorite park and have a memorial picnic lunch together with her friends and family to celebrate her life, love and devotion by which she always lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations made to her church, Charleroi Baptist Church or to your local blood bank.
