Ray W. Ross, 87, born near Scottdale, Pa., owned ESSO gas station/store (then The Swap Shop), retired coal miner (Robena Mine), drafted into U.S. Army 485th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion, died Friday, July 2, 2010. Survivors: wife, Erna Jewel Jewell; daughters: Margaret Jane ‘Peggy’ Harmon, Patricia Marie Brennan (Daniel) and Judith Diane Hamlin; grandchildren: Ashley Harmon and April Childers; eight great grandchildren; brother, Henry W. Ross; sister, Alberta Ford.

Viewing: Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8, BEHM, Jefferson; Wednesday (July 7) in the JEFFERSON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH until 1 p.m.
