Uniontown man faces charges for alleged assault on pregnant girlfirend

A 28-year-old Uniontown man captured Sunday by state police for allegedly trying to run over a trooper in May is facing a new set of charges. State police said Sean Warren Middleton, was taken into custody Sunday by state police at a residence in Brownsville.

Middleton was wanted on charges of aggravated assault, escape, fleeing or eluding police, false identification and citations for reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.

Police said that additional charges were filed following Middleton’s arrest after he allegedly beat his pregnant girlfriend during an argument Sunday in Brownsville.
