Frances J.Pawlak Marcinak, age 85 of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 8. She was born March 8, 1925 in Lemont Furnace, Pa, daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Kieta) Pawlak.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Earl “Skip” Marcinak and an infant daughter, Kathleen; Brothers, Frank Pawlak, Walter Pawlak, and Joseph Pawlak; Sisters, Ann Zowski and Mary Pawlak.

Frances was member of United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Retired from Weiss Meat Packing, and frequented the American Legion Post 423, Masontown. She had attended All Saints Church, Masontown.

Surviving are Sisters, Helen Smolen, Alice Silbaugh, Elizabeth Chunkala, and Irene Smith who shared and treasured a mutual love, friendship and respect for one another; many nieces, nephews, and family members who she adored; and her dear pet dog, “Blue Eyes”.

Family and friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, McClellandtown, Sunday, July 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Entombment in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced.
