Rita Ellen McGinty Conde
Rita Ellen McGinity Conde, 85 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in the Mt. Macrina Manor. She was born August 22, 1924 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Owen McGinity and Ethel Whalen McGinity.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Conde; her son Timothy Conde; Brothers: Dennis, Michael, Thomas and Hugh.
Rita was a member of St. Therese Lisieux R. C. Church, the Church Choir and the Altar Rosary Society. She was a Eucharistic Minister. Rita was also a member of the AOH, Chaplain of Divine Mercy, Meals on Wheels, Ladies of Charity and the Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her loving sons: Patrick Owen Conde of Smithfield, Pa. and Dr. Kevin Conde and wife Jeanie of Buckhannon, West Virginia; her loving grandchildren: Andrea, Robert, Dominica, Margaret and Adela; her sisters: Mary Catherine McGinity Demsko of Uniontown and Ellen McGinity Duffy of Masontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday morning until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Lisieux RC Church with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak V.F., Pastor as celebrant.
Interment follows in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery.
The following Services will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the funeral home: Chaplain of Divine Mercy at 3 p.m.; Parish Wake Service at 3:30 p.m.; St. Therese Altar Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 6:45 p.m. and the Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary at 7 p.m.
