Frances J. (Pawlak) Marcinak
Frances J. (Pawlak) Marcinak, age 85 years, of McClellandtown, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born to Lawrence Pawlak and Mary (Kieta) Pawlak on March 8, 1925 in LemontFurnace, Pennsylvania
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Earl “Skip” Marcinak; an infant daughter, Kathleen; three brothers, Frank Pawlak, Walter Pawlak and Joseph Pawlak; sisters, Ann Zouski and Mary Pawlak.
Frances had attended All Saints Church in Masontown.
She frequented American Legion Post 423, Masontown.
Frances was retired from Weiss Meat Packing and was a member of United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
Surviving are four sisters: Helen Smolen, Alice Silbaugh, Elizabeth Chunkala and Irene Smith who treasured a mutual love, friendship, and respect for one another; many nieces, nephews, and family members who she adored; and her dear pet dog, “Blue Eyes”.
Family and Friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, McClellandtown, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, July 12, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with Rev. Father John Butler officiating.
Entombment will follow in C h a p e l o f M e m o r i e s Mausoleum at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
Vigil Service will be held in Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.
