Robert “Bob” Philip Sr.
Robert “Bob” Philip Sr., age 73, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday morning, July 10, 2010 in the Golden Living Center, Uniontown. He was born August 6, 1936 in Connellsville, Pa., the son of the late John Philip and Margaret Warnick Philip.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene P. Campbell; brothers: John and Mike Philip and sister-in-law, Beatrice Philip.
Bob was an avid pool player and loved bowling and fishing.
He is survived by his children: Robert S. Philip Jr. of Florida, Carol J. Philip Andrews of Florida and Harry Metts of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Margaret “Flo” Keifer of Uniontown; sister-in-law, Elsie Philip of Uniontown; loving nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning until 10 a.m. when a Blessing service will be held.
Interment follows in St. Stephen Cemetery, Leisenring, Pa.
