Louise Mara Angeline Marian
Louise Mara Angeline Marian, 92, of Fairchance, Pa. died on July 13, 2010 after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. She was born in Bowood, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of the late Alphonso and Michaelina Cardine Angeline.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Marian; sisters, Angela Nepa and Sylvia Cocca; brothers, Firpo, Alex and Pete Angeline and a special niece, Mary Nepa Polink.
She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.
She was known for her love of cooking, politics and her homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs.
Surviving are her children, Mara Jo Gallardo-Sigut and husband Walter and Gene R. Marian and wife Peggy; her grandsons, Michael Gallardo and Matthew Gallardo and wife Myra; great grandchildren, Madeline Gallardo and Mason Gallardo; nieces, Jo Ditto, Sandy Schwab and Bernie Blaney; many other loving nieces and nephews; close cousin, Rose Romano; close caregivers, Hope Hlatky and Marty Swaney; special friends, Mabel Sementa and Gertie Roskovensky and her faithful dog, Beau.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, July 16, 2010 until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 11 a.m. in the Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa. with the Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
Vigil service will be held this evening at 8:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Joseph Cemetery Fund, c/o Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa.
