Edward Kelly
0005904519-01-1.jpg Edward Kelly, age 85 years, of Brownsville, Pennsylvania passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born on January 19, 1925 in Republic, Pennsylvania he was the son of Jack Kelly and Emma Sams Kelly.
Edward was employed as a Coal Miner at J & L Vesta 5 Mine and also as a Truck Driver for Eclipse Motor Lines
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Angeline Zaroni Kelly on August 31, 2007; a granddaughter, Sarah Jo Kelly; sisters, Ellen Kelly, Bertha May Kelly, Mildred Kelly, Elizabeth Kelly Evans, Margaret Kelly Simyak, Mary Jane Kelly Perkins, Jenieve Kelly McGuaghy; brothers, George Kelly, William Kelly, Jack Kelly and Jim Kelly.
Edward is survived by his children: Barry Kelly and wife Sarah of Brownsville, Barbara Kelly with whom he made his home, Shawn Kelly and his wife Lou Ann of McDonald, Pennsylvania and Kevin Kelly and his wife Roxanne of Brownsville; by grandchildren: Patrick, Brandon, Brian, Tyler, Mason, Mackenzie, Collin and Connor; by a sister, Eleanor Kelly Osborne; by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leslie and Irene Kotouch of Baden, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
A “Special Thank You” to Rev. Paul Sandusky and to the Fayette Home Care Nurses, especially to Anita, his very caring nurse.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, July 19, 2010 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Paul Sandusky officiating.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
