PennDOT maps out work schedule for coming week
Chris Sleighter, Fayette County manager with the state Department of Transportation, has announced the following tentative work plans for the week beginning Monday. The schedule is as follows:
n The bridge crew will be doing structure repairs on state Route 819 in the Dawson area.
n The bridge flushing crew will be cleaning bridges on state Route 1005 in the Indian Head area, state Route 1009 (Poplar Run Road), state Route 1013 (White Bridge Road), state Route 1027 (McClure Road) and state Route 381 in the Champion area.
n Base repair is scheduled on state Route 857 from the Fairchance area to Rubles Mill Road.
n Shoulder cutting is scheduled on state Route 4046(Rathway Road) and state Route 4019 (Redstone Church Road).
n Ditch cleaning is scheduled on state Route 1056 (Krienbrook Hill).
n Ditch cleaning and side dozing is scheduled on state Route 381 in the Indian Head area.
n Pipe flushing is scheduled on state Route 2011 (Dinnerbell Road), state Route 2021 (Jummonville Road) and state Route 40 in the Summit area.
n Patching is scheduled on state Route 4001 (Rush Run Road).
n Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
All maintenance activities are conducted as the weather permits. PennDOT said motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.
