Fayette County Sheriff’s report for June

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department fielded 654 calls for service in June including 131 complaints and summons and 19 landlord/tenant disputes. Officers said they handled 37 protection-from-abuse cases, dealt with 34 mortgage foreclosure complaints and issued 355 gun permits.

Officers also served eight bench warrants during the month.

According to the sheriff’s office, the department transported 114 prisoners during the month and also provided security for the Fayette County Courthouse, the Fayette County Public Safety building.
