Uniontown women waive burglary charges

Two Uniontown women accused of conspiring to commit burglary waived all charges against them to court today. Uniontown police Officer David J. Rutter said Sally M. Moore, 20, and Lora Lee Scagline, 27, both of 163 Lincoln St., Uniontown, were charged in early July before magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit theft and criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property.

Additionally, Rutter said that Kenneth Moore, 35, of 163 Lincoln St., Uniontown, and Karl Robert Keyton, 20, of 14 Batha Road, Smock, were each charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, theft, criminal conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property and criminal mischief for their roles in the theft.

During preliminary hearings held this afternoon before Metros, both women waived the charges against them to Fayette County Court.
