Most charges withdrawn against woman in road rage incident

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

The majority of charges filed against a Dunbar woman accused of ramming her vehicle into another in South Union Township last week were withdrawn this morning. State police Cpl. Russ Freed said Kathleen Diane Rockwell, 53, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

During a preliminary hearing today before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr., prosecutors withdrew both assault charges against Rockwell who then waived the reckless endangerment charge to Fayette County Court.
