Copperheads cruise to 7-3 FCBL victory By the Herald Standard Blue Mountain built a 3-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back en route to a 7-3 win over Pasta Lorenzo Thursday.

Gene Franks hit two doubles as John Leonard and Eric Holt added a double each as part of a 14-hit effort for Blue Mountain (16-5-2).

Addison Scherich (2-1) pitched 4-2/3 innings, striking five and walking five in the win.

Gary Engle took the loss for Pasta Lorenzo (5-15-2).

Blue Mountain finishes regular season play today, traveling to G.K. Realty.
