Whetzel-Kiral

Sarah Elaine Kiral of Mount Pleasant and William Jordan Whetzel of Allison were united in marriage May 8 at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Mount Pleasant. The Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiated at the nuptial Mass. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Rita Kiral of Tomahawk Drive, Mount Pleasant. The bridegroom is the son of Bill and Carole Whetzel of Allison Avenue, Allison.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless satin ball gown with beaded embroidery, beaded bodice with pickup and cathedral train. A beaded sequin headpiece held a scalloped-edged veil.

April Kiral, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Peifer, cousin of the bride; Alaina Whetzel, sister of the bridegroom; Samantha Walsh, cousin of the bridegroom; and Christina Swartz. Kiley Brundege, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Best man was Jacob Walsh, cousin of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Anthony Trozzo, Benjamin Kiesinger, Nicholas Tiberi and A.J. Ardabell.

A reception was held at the Polish Falcon Club in Mount Pleasant.

The bride graduated from Westmoreland County Community College. She is employed at Gouker Chiropractic Clinic.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Penn State University. He is employed with the U.S. Census Bureau and accepted a position with Bechtal Corp.

They honeymooned at Orlando and Florida Keys.
