Uniontown police utilize new fleet of vehicles

Uniontown police have a new vehicle at their disposal thanks, in part, to a grant secured through the U.S. Department of Justice. Police Chief Jason A. Cox said the Ford Expedition, which was secured primarily with grant money, is a welcome addition to the city’s fleet of police vehicles.

“The SUV will give us a greater ability to respond to incidents during snow storms in the winter months and it also provides us with additional space that could be needed for critical incidents in the city,” Cox said.
