Barbara Sungala Parsons Carpenter
Barbara Sungala Parsons Carpenter, 75, of Roscoe, PA died Monday, July 26, 2010 in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born July 6, 1935, in Daisytown, PA a daughter of the late John W. and Jennie Boka Sungala.
Mrs. Carpenter was a 1953 graduate of Centerville High School and attended Penn Commercial Business School.
She was a receptionist and secretary for several years at the Center in The Woods in California, PA.
Mrs. Carpenter attended First Presbyterian Church of California, PA.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
On July 29, 1995 she married Hubert Carpenter who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John Scott Parsons, (Joyce) of Pennfield, NY and Timothy R. Parsons (Sandra) of Perryopolis, PA and two grandchildren, Timothy “T.J.” Parsons and Katherine Parsons.
Friends will be received today from 5 to 8 P.M. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, July 29, 2010 with Pastor Daniel Gates officiating.
Interment will be in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
