Rosalie Sheba
0005909998-01-1.jpg Rosalie Sheba, age 85, of Uniontown, PA, died on Monday, July 26, 2010 at her home. She was raised in Puritan, daughter of the late Severin and Mary Sprusansky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen S. Sheba, Sr., three brothers, and two sisters.
She was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union.
Rosalie lived a contented and happy life, dedicated to raising her family, and to their farm.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stephen S. Sheba, Jr. at home; and Nancy Kovell and her husband Robert of Belle Vernon, PA; her grandson Sam Kovell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends their deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to her friend and neighbor Ann Vallozzi; the nurses and support staff of Albert Gallatin Home Care and Hospice; and Betty Skowronek of Comfort Keepers.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, July 29, from 5-9 p.m., and on Friday, July 30, 2010 until 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
The Parish Wake Service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m.
