Redstone Twp. Carl Garofalo of Brownsville reported to state police that someone broke a garage window at his residence sometime during the overnight hours of July 19 and 20, police said. Perry Twp. Truck vandalized

John Roebuck of Vanderbilt reported to state police that someone threw a piece of concrete through the rear window of his pickup truck sometime during the overnight hours of July 24 and 25, police said.

Dawson Man charged

State police said they have filed charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct against Eric R. Smith of Dickerson Run after he allegedly damaged property belonging to Stephanie J. Smith during a July 25 incident at a residence on Stauffer Street in Dawson.

German Twp. Retail theft reported

State police said they have filed charges of retail theft against Ronald J. Unger, 36, of McClellandtown, following an incident in which he allegedly stole a 12-pack of soft drink from the Route 21 Sunoco on July 27. The pop is worth $5.28.

North Union Twp. Teen charged

State police have filed charges of criminal mischief against a 17-year-old Uniontown boy after he allegedly damaged the front door of Jennifer Williams’ home on Edison Street during an incident July 26, police said.

Menallen Twp. Man charged

State police said they have filed charges of drug possession against Charles E. Bailey, 19, no address available, after he was found with narcotics during an incident on Grant Street in New Salem on July 27.

North Union Twp. Arrest made

State police have filed charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct against Mark E. Mechling, 18, of Uniontown after he allegedly pointed a firearm at Nicholas Wirick, 18, also of Uniontown, during an incident along Connellsville Street on July 24, police said.

Saltlick Twp. Window smashed

Ronald Kastner II of Melcroft reported to state police that someone broke the back window of his vehicle on July 26 while it was parked at 303 Ash St. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

Connellsville Charges filed

City police have filed charges against the following people in unrelated incidents:

n Carla Darrell, 33, of Connellsville with disorderly conduct after she allegedly was found to be using very loud and profane language against juveniles during a July 15 incident at the South Side Elementary School.

n Harry Straitiff, 42, of Kane with public intoxication after he was allegedly found drunk July 22 along South 8th Street.

Masontown Woman cited

Masontown police said Tiffany Werner, 22, of Masontown was cited for criminal mischief following an incident on West Church Avenue at 9:52 p.m. Saturday.

Nicholson Twp. Home burglarized

State police said Ellen Krichbaum, 50, of Fairchance reported that someone broke into her home at 251 Church St. Extension between May 25 and 26.

Connellsville Twp. Theft reported

James Stephens of Connellsville told police that 45 bundles of shingles were stolen from his home on Buttermore Road between 1 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. Monday, state police said.

South Union Twp. Man cited

Ryan Buchheit, 22, of Brownfield was cited for scattering rubbish at a business in South Union Township Monday, state police said.

East Huntingdon Twp. Window damaged

Richard Zeman of Scottdale told police that vandals damaged the rear window of his vehicle while it was parked on Catalina Farm Road between 11 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Masontown Bullets found

Masontown police said a bag of bullets was found in a box of other items that had been donated to Masontown Helping Hands Ministry, located at 14 S. Main St, on Wednesday. The ministry accepts donations of clothing and household items and gives them to those in need. Police urge to use caution and check all items thoroughly before donating.

North Union Twp. Violation reported

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said officers cited Bugsy’s at 225 Shady Grove Road May 15 for violating state liquor laws.

North Union Twp. Vehicle stolen

Karen Martin reported that someone stole her 1999 gray Ford Ranger from her home at 188 Hopwood-Coolspring Road Wednesday morning.

North Union Twp. Man charged

State police said Mark Eric Mechling, 18, of Uniontown was charged with disorderly conduct after he started punching himself and telling police he was not going to jail while at the Uniontown station around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said they had to use pepper spray to subdue Mechling.

German Twp. Two charged

State police said Elmer Engle, 21, of Ronco and Marshall Cramer, 20, of Masontown were charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after they got into a fight on Meadow Street around 10:10 p.m. Monday.

North Union Twp. Two cited

State police said Gabrielle Scott, 19, of Lemont Furnace and a 17-year-old girl were cited for harassment following an incident at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Mount Pleasant Twp. Theft reported

State police in Greensburg said Dennis Scherer of Mount Pleasant reported that someone stole change and a watermelon from his unlocked car between July 22 and 23.
