Local ministry hosts gospel concert series
Light and Life Ministries in Fairchance will host a five-week gospel concert series that begins this Sunday. The series will take place each Sunday in August, beginning at 6 p.m. at Light and Life, the campgrounds that are located on Route 857 across from Sweet Pea’s service station.
Terry Rahm, chairman of the trustees, explained, “We thought we would do something to bring the community Christian music every Sunday in our tabernacle.”
He noted the campgrounds are open to everyone.
The lineup for the concert series includes:
Aug. 1: Mountain Anthems, a Mennonite a cappella group from Grantsville, Md.
Aug. 8: Local talent will be featured. This night is open to individuals and groups. To register, call 724-564-5000.
