John and Barbara Miles of Heidler Road, Fairview, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Miles of Kennedy Township, to Adam Kapalko of Greensburg, son of Dennis and Linda Kapalko of Braddock Drive, Chalk Hill. The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Fairview High School and is a 2001 graduate of Penn State Behrend with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. She is a sales representative for Eli Lilly.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned a master of science degree in physician assistant studies from Seton Hill University in 2006. He is a physician assistant in Greensburg.

A wedding for April 2 is planned.
