$3,100 worth of items stolen from Walmart

State police are investigating the theft of more than $3,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart in South Union Township. Trooper Craig M. Soltis two people went into the retailer on two different occasions, stole computer software applications and video games, and then slid them under the fence in the lawn and garden section of the store.

Another person would then drive up to the area in the parking lot where the items were sitting and pick the stolen merchandise up and leave.

Police said about $3,100 in merchandise was stolen between July 3 and 5.

The investigation is continuing.
