Also joining in hosting the block party are Target, a national sponsor of the event, Uniontown Mayor Ed Fike’s office and the Uniontown Redevelopment Authority.

Food, entertainment, educational activities, police and community programs, and more will be presented. Domestic Violence Services, city police, state police, and the Uniontown Fire Department will host informational and interactive booths.

Revamped Youth Group will provide games and entertainment. Face painting, balloon artists, and music will also be presented.

The East End Concerned Citizens’ Group is a grassroots initiative led by residents, property owners, and community leaders.
