Four cited
Cumberland Twp. Four people were cited for disorderly conduct following an altercation at the parking lot of Parkview Knoll at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, state police at Waynesburg said. Cited were Carla D. Salisbury, 20, of Jefferson, Kristine M. Seeholzer, 21, of Jefferson, Nicole M. Jones, 24, of Carmichaels and Jeffrey L. Balazick Jr., 28, of Carmichaels. The charges were filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Lee Watson.
Jefferson Twp. Two-vehicle accident
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Route 21, just east of Rolling Meadows Road at 9:17 a.m. Friday, state police at Waynesburg said.
The accident occurred when a 2006 Kenworth tri-axle truck driven by Arnold P. Whoolery, 42, of Smithfield attempted to stop when he was traveling west on Route 21 and traffic was stopping ahead for a vehicle turning left. When Whoolery attempted to stop, he locked his brakes and slid into the westbound lane of Route 21 and struck a vehicle driven by Glenn O. White, 39, of Carmichaels head on, police said.
Whoolery suffered minor injuries and White suffered moderate injuries. Both drivers were taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.
After the accident, both lanes of Route 21 were closed for 1 1/2 hours. A single lane of Route 21 was reopened and traffic was allowed to pass one direction at a time for 1 1/2 hours more, before the entire road was re-opened.
The state Department of Transportation, Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department, Southwest EMS and the state Department of Environmental Protection assisted at the scene.
Police said Whoolery was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
Connellsville Stickers stolen
Two inspection stickers were taken from Davies Ford Inc. at 2551 Memorial Blvd. at the Quick Lane Garage between 3 p.m. Thursday and 10:19 a.m. Friday, state police said.
Police said the serial numbers are known and have been entered into a national database as stolen.
Washington Twp. Vehicle sideswiped
Two people were injured when the vehicle they were in was struck by another vehicle on Route 221 at 7:54 p.m. Thursday, state police at Waynesburg said.
A 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Wayne B. Mitchell, 63, of Prosperity was turning left onto Dille Run Road and turned too sharply and sideswiped a vehicle driven by Theodore J. Cukkryznski, 49, of Prosperity, which was waiting at the stop sign on Dille Run Road to turn right onto Route 221, police said.
Cukryznski suffered minor injuries and a passenger, Karen R. Cukryznski, 49, of Prosperity, suffered moderate injuries, police said. Mitchell was cited for driving in the wrong lane, police said.
German Twp. Cigarettes swiped
State police are investigating an incident in which two cartons of Newport cigarettes were taken from the Sweet Pea’s at the intersection of Routes 21 and 166 in McClellandtown at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said a white male in his 30s asked for the cigarettes and when the clerk handed the man the cartons, he fled without paying.

Henry Clay Twp. Forgery arrest
A 24-year-old Masontown woman was arrested for theft, receiving stolen property and forgery for an incident that occurred between Feb. 28 and March 3 in Markleysville, state police said.
Ashley Ann Marchezak of 141 Baker Hill Road is facing the charges. The victim is Elsie Marie Deal, 75, of 5491 National Pike. The charges were filed against Marchezak in the office of Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis, police said.
South Union Twp. Three-vehicle crash
Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident on New Salem Road at 5:04 p.m. Thursday, state police said.
Police said the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Shawn T. Bate, 29, of Uledi traveling east on New Salem Road failed to stop and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Georgetta L. Friend, 40, of New Salem, which was stopped. Friend’s vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Michael K. Ballone, 45, of Brownsville, which was also stopped to make a left turn off of New Salem Road. Police are investigating.
America Ambulance and New Salem Volunteer Fire Department assisted.
Bate suffered moderate injuries and a 17-year-old unidentified passenger in Bate’s vehicle also suffered minor injuries, police said. Bate, who was driving a 2000 Dodge Stratus, was cited for failure to maintain proper speed, police said.
Uniontown Pub cited
The South Side Pub at 375 Mt. Vernon Ave. was cited for a liquor law violation for allegedly allowing music or other entertainment to be heard outside on the dates of June 5, June 6, July 12 and July 13, 2009, according to the state police bureau of liquor control enforcement. The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge, who can impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000, depending on the severity of the offense, a suspension or revocation of the liquor license. The judge could also order responsible alcohol management training, which is provided by the Pennsylvania liquor control board.
Redstone Twp. Tree and wall struck
State police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Route 166, north of New Salem Road between 12:01 and 3 a.m. Thursday, state police at Belle Vernon said. Police said a Jeep Liberty owned by Jerry Booker of Adah was traveling south on Route 166 when the vehicle went off the eastern berm of the road and struck a tree and a stone retaining wall. The unknown driver then fled the scene.
Everson Two cited
Lucas Miller and Keith Greenawalt, both of Everson, were each cited for harassment after they were involved in an altercation in an alley behind Brown Street at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, state police at Belle Vernon said.
Fayette City Hit-and-run
State police at Belle Vernon are investigating an incident in which an unknown vehicle struck a 2010 Honda Ridgeline that was legally parked on Route 201, 82 feet north of Market Street and then fled the scene at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Greene County Commercial vehicle detail
State police certified in the Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program, in an attempt to reduce the number of commercial vehicle crashes and fatalities on rural roads, dedicated a 10-hour shift to conduct inspections on various rural roads and state highways in Greene County. A total of 24 Troop B Department personnel saturated Greene County with enforcement of commercial vehicle violations. During the detail, which occurred between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, a total of 87 inspections were conducted; 43 citations of drivers and vehicles were issued; 81 warnings were issued and 11 vehicles were put out of service. Police said the project is part of a comprehensive approach to highway safety.
Franklin Twp. Cars collide
State police said no one was injured when cars driven by Angel Morio Vasquez of Spraggs and Kimberly Beevers of Greensburg collided on East Oak Street in Franklin Township, Greene County, at 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
Whiteley Twp. Warrant issued
State police said they issued a warrant for the arrest of Carl E. Rouse III, 33, of Masontown, W.Va., for robbery and assault following an incident involving Steven DeBerry of Dellslow, W.Va., at a location on Interstate 79 Monday.
Wharton Twp. Man injured
State police said Alan F. Ayoub, 44, of Pittsburgh suffered serious injuries when he crashed into a deer while driving a motorcycle on Route 40. Police said Ayoub was traveling west on Route 40 when the deer allegedly ran across the road in front of him at 12:34 a.m. Sunday.
Georges Twp. Two charged
Joyce Lynn Mackey, 29, of Uniontown and Todd D. Kelly, 31, of Uniontown were each charged with writing bad checks to purchase merchandise from Reese Furniture Warehouse between May 14 and May 17, state police said.
Luzerne Twp. Two charged
State police said Robert Lee Hough, 39, and Loretta Lynn Hough, 39, both of Republic, were each charged with harassment for allegedly becoming involved in an altercation at their 431 First St., Allison 2, residence on Thursday.
Lower Tyrone Twp. Threats made
According to state police, an unidentified 53-year-old male threatened to harm several CSX Railroad employees if they did not stop working on or near his River Road property at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Everson Two charged

Ashley Kotcella of Grindstone was cited for criminal mischief for allegedly throwing a brick through the window of the Third Street home of Steve Susa of Allison at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
