Uniontown pilot charged with theft in Washington County

A Uniontown man is facing multiple charges after he alleged bilked 84 Lumber Co. of Washington County out of more than $250,000. North Strabane police said Nicholas James Ludi, 62, was charged last week before Magisterial District Judge Jay Weller with four counts of theft, corruption by misstatements, tampering with records and unlawful use of a computer after he was paid more than $250,000 in money he was not owed while working as a pilot for 84 Lumber Co.
