Charges filed
Connellsville Connellsville police have filed charges against the following people in unrelated incidents: n Lisa Leonard, 39, of Connellsville was charged with retail theft after Martin’s supermarket employees allegedly found her placing items into her purse while walking through the store Feb. 28. Police said that the incident was recorded on the in-store video surveillance system. Leonard was apprehended and the items returned to the store. Police said that because Leonard has four prior convictions for retail theft, the current charges will be listed as felony counts.
n Lloyd Murphy, 31, and Amber Fisch, 18, both of Connellsville, were charged with harassment following an incident at 316 E. South St. on May 23, when police allegedly found the two engaged in a dispute.
n Brett Brink, 19, of Hopwood was charged with harassment after he allegedly struck Samantha Osler, no age given, during an incident May 16 in the North Manor housing complex.
n Korey R. Black, 39, of Connellsville was charged with harassment after he allegedly went to the North Pittsburgh Street residence of Vicky Marshall at 4 a.m. Monday and knocked on her window and then made threatening remarks to her during a later telephone conversation.
n Loren Tulley, 25, and Angel Halfhill, 20, both of Connellsville, were charged with disorderly conduct after they were allegedly found tossing eggs at vehicles parked along West Side Hill. Police said that after receiving a report from a victim, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the car allegedly involved in the incident and initiated a traffic stop. At that time, said police, a carton of eggs was found inside the car.
