Uniontown news Uniontown High School Class of 1948 will hold its 62nd-year class reunion Sept. 17 at the holiday Inn. Social gathering is from 5 to 8 p.m. The dinner dance will be held Sept. 18, starting at 4 p.m. The class picture will be taken at 5 p.m. All reservations must be in by Aug. 17 by calling Jean at 724-437-8158 or Delores at 724-438-7637 for more information.

Holbert “Red” and Janet Wingard of Sun City, Ariz., are celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary today. They are currently visiting with Mrs. Wingard’s aunt, Elva Conroy of Uniontown.

Smock Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold a grocery bingo at 3 p.m. today at the social hall.
Dartball League
The Ladies Dartball teams held a banquet at the AMVETS in Hopwood. It was hosted by Springhill Fellowship Church. First-place award went to the Salvation Army team.
A special meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Meadow Heights, North Beeson Avenue, Uniontown, for all managers and assistant managers.
