Building vandalized

Uniontown Uniontown police are investigating an incident in which a building at 27-29 Morgantown St. was vandalized sometime between June 1 and Tuesday. The building, owned by Thomas Licciardi, is being remodeled. The two rear doors of the building were kicked in and someone wrote in push pins the word “die” on the wall and smeared what appeared to be blood inside, police said. Two handprints also were left inside in what appeared to be blood, police said.

Windows were broken inside the building and the word “kill” was written in red liquid, as was the word “murder,” police said.

Other words were written as well, and the word “nag” was spray painted in black, police said.

Uniontown Home burglarized

Uniontown police are investigating a burglary that occurred at 59 Kerr St. sometime between June 4 and Monday morning.

The back door to the home was kicked open and various items, including a 46-inch flat-screen television, a video game system in a red bag and a 32-inch flat-screen TV were stolen, police said.

A dresser inside the home, owned by Billy Deonte James, was ransacked, police said.

Uniontown Items stolen, damaged

A residence at South Grant Street was broken into and burglarized sometime late Sunday, Uniontown police said.

An aquarium inside was smashed, holes were punched in the walls, and a DVD player, 13-inch television and black card table were stolen, police said. Clothes were scattered throughout the home.

The owner is Lisa J. Smith, police said.
