Elizabeth Ann Parish
Elizabeth Ann Parish, 90, of Masontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side, on Monday, June 7, 2010. She was born in Thompson II on October 18, 1919, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Augustine Richnafsky.
Elizabeth was a member of All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown, Pa. and St. Mary’s Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George J. Parish, brothers, Andrew and John Richnafsky and infant sisters, Mary and Ann Richnafsky.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Mary Anne Hritz and son, George J. Parish and wife, Donna of Masontown, Pa.; grandson, George Christopher Parish of Carlisle, Pa.; sisters-in-law:Alice Richnafsky and Catherine Parish and nephews and niece.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church and 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown, Pa. with Rev. Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.
Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone.
