Dunbar Twp. State police said that Bryan Matthew Clay, 21, of Dunbar was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after a fight with an unidentified 20-year-old woman on Broadway Avenue in Trotter around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Connellsville Twp. Purse stolen

Margaret Basinger, 47, of Vanderbilt reported that someone stole her purse while at 116 Chrysler St. on Thursday evening.

Dunbar Twp. Theft reported

State police said Richard Eicher of Vanderbilt reported someone broke into his home on Numetrics Road and stole a 42-inch plasma television between May 21 and 25.

Luzerne Twp. Accident reported

State police in Belle Vernon said an infant sustained injuries of unknown severity as a passenger in a car driven by Joseph H. Feick Jr., no age listed, of Brownsville. Police said Feick hit a mailbox and a tree on Bull Run Road around 9 a.m. Monday.

Mount Pleasant Twp. Theft reported

State police in Greensburg said Katelyn E. Tarasky of Mount Pleasant reported someone stole a television from her home in Maple Hill Apartments on May 31.

Richhill Twp. Man injured

State police in Waynesburg said Jeffrey J. McCullough, 42, of Chicora was flown by medical helicopter after an accident on West Roy Furman Highway in Wind Ridge at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday. Police said McCullough’s car hit a sign and tree and rolled onto its roof. Information on his condition was unavailable.

Morgan Twp. Accident reported

State police in Waynesburg said no one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Chartiers Road around 7:20 p.m. Sunday.

Police listed the driver of one vehicle as Kathryn A. Giovanelli, 59, of Millsboro, who had William Giovanelli Jr., 58, also of Millsboro, in the car. The driver of the other vehicle was listed as James A. Scott Sr., 34, who had passengers Heather J. Scott, 33, Terry E. Farrar, 13, and Veronica P. Farrar, 15, all of Carmichaels, in the vehicle.

Franklin Twp. One injured

State police in Waynesburg said David C. Shaw, 48, of Waynesburg sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Route 18 around 3:55 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the other vehicle involved, Hafeez A. Olanigan, 25, of Philadelphia, was uninjured, police said.

Waynesburg Theft reported

State police in Waynesburg said that Aaron Kirk of Hodges, Ala., reported that someone stole a welder lead from his work truck while it was parked at the Holiday Motel on Friday.

Connellsville Charges filed

Police have filed charges against the following people in unrelated incidents:

Korey Black, 39, of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly harassed an unidentified woman during a June 5 incident.

Amy Jordan, 24, of Connellsville with disorderly conduct after she allegedly refused to exit an unidentified man’s vehicle and then yelled profanities at him during the June 2 incident.

Connellsville Fraud

Police have filed charges against a Connellsville woman and Uniontown man and are searching for a third person in connection with several bad checks written to a local business.

Joyce Mackey, 29, of Connellsville and Todd Kelly, 31, of Uniontown are charged with writing bad checks, theft by deception and receiving stolen property in connection with a May 12 and May 13 incident.

According to Connellsville police detective Lt. Steven Shaffer, Kelly purchased four tires from Mongell Tire Service of Connellsville on May 12 and allegedly wrote a check on an account with insufficient funds.

The following day, said Shaffer, Mackey went to the same location and made a similar purchase and allegedly paid with a bad check.

Police allege that a third person, Josh Querry, age and address unknown, also made a tire purchase at Mongell’s on April 19 and paid for the tires with a bad check.

“It is believed these incidents and individuals are related,” said Shaffer.

Police are seeking Querry’s whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to call Shaffer at 724-628-2501, ext. 114.

Uniontown Building vandalized

Uniontown police are investigating an incident in which a building at 27-29 Morgantown St. was vandalized sometime between June 1 and Tuesday.

The building, owned by Thomas Licciardi, is being remodeled. The two rear doors of the building were kicked in and someone wrote in push pins the word “die” on the wall and smeared what appeared to be blood inside, police said. Two handprints also were left inside in what appeared to be blood, police said.

Windows were broken inside the building and the word “kill” was written in red liquid, as was the word “murder,” police said.

Other words were written as well, and the word “nag” was spray painted in black, police said.

Uniontown Home burglarized

Uniontown police are investigating a burglary that occurred at 59 Kerr St. sometime between June 4 and Monday morning.

The back door to the home was kicked open and various items, including a 46-inch flat-screen television, a video game system in a red bag and a 32-inch flat-screen TV were stolen, police said.

A dresser inside the home, owned by Billy Deonte James, was ransacked, police said.

Uniontown Items stolen, damaged

A residence at South Grant Street was broken into and burglarized sometime late Sunday, Uniontown police said.

An aquarium inside was smashed, holes were punched in the walls, and a DVD player, 13-inch television and black card table were stolen, police said. Clothes were scattered throughout the home.

The owner is Lisa J. Smith, police said.
