South union twp. State police said vehicles driven by Evelyn Opel of Uniontown, Mark Whoolery of Fairchance and Lisa Huffine of Uniontown crashed on Morgantown Road at 12:10 a.m. Thursday. According to police, Opel’s and Whoolery’s separate vehicles both collided head-on with Huffine’s vehicle. Police said the crash remains under investigation, noting that charges are pendning. Franklin Twp. Chemicals stolen

Carolyn Anderson, 67, of Vanderbilt reported that septic tank chemicals that had been delivered to her home by FedEx were taken from her front porch, state police said.

The theft occurred on April 13, police said.

Luzerne Twp. Wallet taken

A wallet and change were taken from a vehicle on Third Street in Hiller between 6 p.m. Monday and 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

The owner is Raelyn Crable of Hiller.

Redstone Twp. Two assaulted

A 24-year-old Grindstone woman was arrested for simple assault for allegedly assaulting two people at an incident at a location on Stone Church Road in Grindstone at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. Ashley Kotcella allegedly assaulted Andrew Kotcella, 52, and Agnes Kotcella, 53, both of Grindstone. She was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis and placed in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Luzerne Twp. Church burglarized

Donated cash that was located inside the office of Bible Baptist Church was taken after the church was broken into sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Police said the thieves forcibly entered the church through a locked side door and then broke into an office to gain access to the money before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Police are investigating.

Brownsville Door damaged

The front door of a home on Green Street was damaged at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, state police said. The owner is Tara Kimmell, 48, of Brownsville. Police said charges against a 20-year-old Brownsville man are pending an estimate of damages.

Redstone Twp. Citation filed

Danita Michaux of Brownsville was cited for harassment after an incident at the Hunter’s Ridge housing development at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. According to police, Michaux allegedly slapped Billie Jo Williams of Brownsville. The citation was cited at the office of Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino.

Vanderbilt Woman assaulted

Troy Allan Breakiron Jr. of Melcroft was charged with simple assault and harassment for an incident that occurred at 283 Greenfield Road in Vanderbilt between noon on Sunday and 4 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. Breakiron allegedly struck Christina Marie Gootz of Vanderbilt several times and forcibly grabbed her by the arm, police said. Charges were filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner.

North Union Twp. Woman cited

Eleanor Louise Skibo, 61, of Uniontown was cited for criminal mischief after she allegedly painted the roadway at 22 Cedar Road with orange paint at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday without permission of North Union Township, state police said.

Skibo admitted painting the road during a property dispute with a neighbor, police said.

East Huntingdon Twp. Theft reported

State police said several items were stolen from the locker room area of Hot Shots Arena in Scottdale June 2.

Uniontown Man charged

Michael Wayne Stone Jr., 25, of Uniontown was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license and public drunkenness following a disturbance outside a bar on East Fayette Street at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, Uniontown police said.

Uniontown Charge filed

Uniontown police said Shawn Hugh, no address available, was charged with theft after he allegedly stole jewelry owned by Jessie Showman of Uniontown from a residence on Bailey Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Uniontown Woman cited

Latoya McCargo of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an incident on Lenox Street at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday, Uniontown police said.

North Union Twp. DUI arrest

Andrew Joseph Tomko, 22, of Dunbar was arrested for driving under the influence and a summary offense after a traffic stop on Route 119 north at Rolling Hills Estates at 2 a.m. May 2, state police said.

Connellsville Twp. Items taken

A television and a mattress were taken from a rental property on Breakneck Road after it was broken into between noon on May 21 and 2:15 p.m. June 2, state police said. The owner is John Maselli, 53, of Connellsville.

Brownsville Man charged

Joshua Woods, 20, of Brownsville was cited for harassment for allegedly striking Lori Fowler, 32, of Brownsville at an incident at a location on Hummell Street at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said. The charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino.
