Jerry Lee Kissinger Sr.
Jerry Lee Kissinger Sr., 66, of Collier, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Born September 25, 1943 in Fairchance, Pennsylvania he was the son of Everett J. Kissinger and Nellie M. Ruff Kissinger.
Jerry was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance.
He was employed at United States Steel’s Duquesne Works as an Electrician for many years and after retirement, he was the custodian at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church.
His parents, one brother, Thomas Kissinger, and his in-laws, William and Kathryn McDonough, are deceased.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith A. McDonough; four children: Jerry Lee Kissinger Jr. of Collier, Kathleen Kissinger and fiance’ Kevin Mansberry, Brownfield, Pennsylvania, Deborah Cunningham and her husband Jeff, Collier, Joseph P. Kissinger Sr. and his wife Jennifer, Uniontown, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren: Ryan and wife Stephanie, Jerry III and Ashley, Matthew, Chanze, Kathryn, Leah, Jennifer, Joseph Jr., Brandon, Paul and Jocelyn; three great grandchildren: Harlee, Jacob and Christopher; his brother, Jesse E. Kissinger and wife Pat, Goldsboro, North Carolina and brother-in-law, James W. McDonough.
Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 10 until 11 a.m. when a Word Service will be held with Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki officiating.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
