James E. Tressler, Sr., age 58 of Ohio, passed peacefully in his sleep June 12, 2010. He was beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Ochenduszko), loving father of Clinton (wife Shawn), James Jr., Mark and Heather, dear grandfather of Benjamin, Amanda (deceased), Jacob, and Gavin Weiss, Ashley and Sarah Cegielski and David Tressler; great grandfather of Vincent Weiss, son of the late Ellis “Jake” and Violet (nee Detrick) of Uniontown, Pa., brother of the late Larry “Butch” Tressler and surviving sisters: Doris “Sis” Sparks (husband Don) and Diane of Uniontown, Pa., beloved uncle of many, dear friend and mentor to Maureen Bronick.

Known as “Big Jim” and “Mr. Jim” to many family, friends and acquaintances. He touched a lot of lives and will be missed by many.

Visitation Friday at the FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME, 5316 Fleet Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44105 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
