Sabic joins CalU staff

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

Soccer Emedin Sabic is the new assistant men’s soccer coach at California (Pa.) He had served in the previous capacity for California’s women’s team the past three seasons. Sabic will join head coach Dennis Laskey’s staff, whom he played under at California from 2003-06.

The Bosnia native helped guide the Vulcans to 31 wins over the last two seasons after mustering just four in 2007. California won its first PSAC West title this past season in addition to appearing in the PSAC and NCAA tournaments.

A search for Sabic’s replacement on the women’s coaching staff is underway.
