0005885379-01-1.jpg 0005885379-01-2.jpg David Milan, age 76, of Uledi, Pa, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Royal, Pa., on July 9, 1933, a son of Stefan and Mary (Krulock) Milan
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Theresa Marie Milan and a brother Stephen Milan.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in New Salem, AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, a 1952 graduate of Uniontown High School, he was the owner and operator of Milan’s Exxon in Uniontown, he loved cutting and weed whacking his lawn and spent countless hours tinkering with cars in his garage.
He is survived by his loving wife Elaine (Moses) Milan, his uncle Steve “Jim” Krulock and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. today, June 16, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday June 17, 2010 until 9:15, when the Panachida Service will be held.
The Divine Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in New Salem with the Rev. Jerome G. Botsko as celebrant.
Interment will be held in St. John Byzantine Cemetery. Hopwood, Pa., where military honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood.
The Parastas Service will be held on this evening at 7 p.m.
