Charges filed
Connellsville Connellsville police have filed charges against the following people in unrelated incidents. n Charles R. Mitchell, 41, was charged with two counts of criminal mischief after he allegedly broke a cell phone owned by Jesse Sherman and slashing the front tire of a vehicle owned by Robert Sherman during an incident Friday.
n Justin Sullivan, 18, of Connellsville was charged with public intoxication after he was allegedly found by police under the influence of marijuana at the rear of the South Side Elementary School on Race Street on Saturday.
n Susan Nichelson, 29, of Connellsville was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following a traffic accident Friday in the 300 block of South Pittsburgh Street.
Connellsville Man charged
Connellsville police have filed charges against a Connellsville man for allegedly burglarizing Connellsville Bottling Distributor early Monday and are seeking the identity of two others believed to be involved in the break-in.
Wayne R. Fuller Jr., 33, was apprehended by Connellsville police and charged with burglary and placed in Fayette County Prison following his arraignment hearing before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty.
Police were dispatched after an alarm sounded at the North Third Street business and observed a male running from the building. He was later identified as Fuller.
A second male and female fled from the scene in a green or blue colored Ford Explorer that had its front passenger side window broken out during the incident. The two fled south on North Third Street, said police.
According to officers, a hole was allegedly cut into the rear garage door by Fuller to gain entrance into the business.
Anyone with information about the vehicle used in the burglary or the two suspects are asked to call police at 724-628-2501, extension 110.
Belle Vernon Damage reported
Southwestern Regional police said Robert Hobler of Main Street reported that someone threw a rock at the windshield of his vehicle between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, causing a crack.
Masontown Gun stolen
Masontown police said Theodore Minerd of Plum Street reported that a handgun was stolen from his home on Sunday.
Masontown Man cited
Sam Hull, 44, of Masontown was cited for public drunkenness after he was found at the intersection of South Water Street and Cross Avenue in an intoxicated state, according to Masontown police.
Masontown Robbery investigated
Masontown police said an attendant at the Marathon gas station on North Main Street reported that he was robbed in the restroom of the business around 8:17 p.m. Sunday. Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
South Huntingdon Twp. Man injured
State police in Belle Vernon said Cody J. Wickerham, 19, of Fayette City sustained minor injuries when his vehicle hit a tree on Main Street around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
Brownsville Car stolen
Brownsville police said Toni Nicholas reported that her black Mazda was stolen from 48 Cemetery Road on June 14.
Brownsville Man cited
Brownsville police said Joshua Pedland, 20, of Water Street was cited for harassment after he came to the home of Ronald and Jennifer Taylor more than 30 times between June 1 and 8.
