A Denbo man is facing multiple charges after he held a Uniontown woman against her will at a residence in Searights early today, state police said. Trooper Marc A. Ziegler said Robert Eugene Grow Jr., 22, was charged with simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment following the incident.

According to Ziegler, the incident occurred between midnight and 2:30 a.m. at 510 Village of Searights.

Ziegler said Grow allegedly held Roxanne Childers, 27, against her will at the residence.

During the time she was held there, Ziegler said Grow held her against the floor and punched her more than 20 times in the face, back, ribs and arms.

The extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
