Andrianna (Eskra) Paris
0005889747-01-1.jpg Andrianna (Eskra) Paris, age 89, of Filbert-Orient Road, Fairbank, Pa., passed away Monday, June 21, 2010, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 28, 1920, in Klana, Croatia, a daughter of the late Andrew Iskra and Pauline Simcic Iskra.
Andrianna was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Republic, for eighty one years, a 1938 graduate of Redstone Township High School, former employee of the Union Supply Store, in Filbert, Pa., she was recently honored for her eighty year membership to the SNPJ, Lodge, she was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge formerly of Republic, the California Swim Club, the California Center in the Woods, the Republic Senior Center and a resident of Beechwood Court, where she resided the past three years.
Andrianna enjoyed her daily card and scrabble games with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of fifty nine years, Homer W. Paris, grandchildren, Brian E. Sigwalt and Jennifer Sigwalt, a brother, Joseph and sisters, Mildred and Pauline.
Surviving are her children: Raymond W. Paris, Sr. and wife, Patricia of Filbert-Orient Road, Marlene Hayden and husband, George of Louisville, Kentucky and Marcella Ermlick and husband, Scott of Greensburg, Pa.; grandchildren: Raymond W. Paris, Jr. and companion, Jessica, Angela Paris, Christine Figgs and husband, Gary, Sean Sigwalt and wife, Jennifer, Mark Sigwalt and wife, Ann, Eric Sigwalt, Adrienne Ermlick and Jonathan Ermlick and ten great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, Legion St., Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Father Stephen Bugay as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic, Pa.
A Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3:30 p.m.
